Welding Fume Extraction Portable Units

General Information

Specifically designed for the extraction and filtration of welding fumes, our portable vacuum units are offered with a 120 ft² to 450 ft² filtration surface. They will do a perfect job with any vacuum-assisted MIG guns and different types of extraction nozzles. HV103, HV105, and HVMAX outclass the category of portable fume extractors in terms of vacuum, filtration areas, and durability.

Our standard cartridges filter 99.9% of particles at 0.5 µm, enabling filtered air recirculation. For example, the size of hexavalent chromium particles from welding is typically between 0.05 and 2.0 microns. In addition, our rugged portable welding fume extractors come with an optional HEPA filter for the highest filtration efficiency.

Our portable and mobile extractors are the most efficient and versatile solution for fume and dust source capture when central vacuum systems cannot be used or are too expensive. They are easily transportable and offer a minimal cost of ownership.

Our technology can help you comply with the current ACGIH threshold limit value of 0.02 mg/m3 of manganese oxide. Test results were satisfactory with various welding parameters and working positions.

HV103, HV105, and HVMAX are the perfect solutions for welding fume or grinding dust extraction if you only have a few workstations to cover or require mobility. They are usually used to extract MIG welding fume with an AIRGOMIG gun. But they are also compatible with other fume extraction MIG guns and different nozzles to accommodate other welding processes.

Portable units are also a great way to perform tests before deploying a central system or slowly introducing welding fume extraction in your workplace. These vacuum units can even be rented.
